You don’t have to be flawless to be perfect

Sometimes being in the gym can be overwhelming.  All these sexier, younger, fitter, stronger, harder working bodies all a round me.  When I first started coming to the gym I would wear my baggiest loosest clothes, in a ridiculous attempt to hide my rolls and and bumps.  I don’t anymore,  I decided that I wanted these youngsters to see what I look like at my worst, because I figured in a few months time I would look quite different.  Now I come to gym dressed for comfort, and it so happens snug fitting gym leggings feel comfortable to me, and I don’t care what I look like.  I’m here to work, not find a spouse.

Todays workout – will be the same for 7 consecutive days;

Barbell bicep curls 10X12 each arm

Over head tricep extentions ( 2 handed)  10X12

Pectoral Flys on the machine 10X15

Barbell preacher curls ( 2 handed) 10X12

Machine leg press (single leg) 10X10 (alternating legs without stopping in between)

Hip abduction inward 10 X 15

Hip abduction outward 10 X 15

Machine quad extentions 5 X 10

Last night I heard a lovely quote on HUNG…

“When you’re young you worry about what other people think of  you, but as you get older you start thinking f##k that, it’s what you think of yourself.”

For today, right here and now I’m my hero, in this moment I am perfect!  In a moment you can make yourself perfect too, do it today, be your own hero today.

I’m off to the pool now, for 30/40 laps, not sure what I can do, but I know I’m going to enjoy every lap.
